5 Senses of Isparta
Isparta... Feels like…a leisurely game of backgammon between college students against a background of dusty brown mountains about to be covered with snow... Looks like…a fog of coal smoke emanating from chimneys in the crisp Autumn air... Smells like…rose petals and spiced coffee and locally grown apples... Tastes like… rose jam , fresh bread, olives, greenhouse tomatoes , lavender tea and anything else you would want for a good Turkish breakfast... Sounds like…the canon that burst for special occasions , Erik Dalı (a traditional dancing song at weddings) and the light tapping of cheap heeled shoes as people dance with huge smiles on their faces.
