Türkiye'ye Hoş Geldiniz! (Welcome to Turkey!)
In response to the warm "Hoş Geldiniz!" ( welcome , or literally 'You came pleasantly') back to Turkey we heartily say, "Hoş Bulduk!" ('we found it to be pleasant'). Being back in Turkey feels great. We are still in transition, waiting for approval from a University that Phillip hopes to teach at, and then getting the appropriate visas. In the meantime, we are reconnecting with old friends and revisiting favorite places in Istanbul. Soon we will be moving south, and wait with anticipation all the changes that will bring. The boys are doing very well. Hudson Kerem charms everyone with his smiles and Lincoln Umut is learning how to play with Turkish friends although he is not fully comfortable in the language yet.
