Ezgi (Melody)
On New Year's Eve we welcomed our daughter, Sofia Ezgi Myrtle Mefford . The community around us has been beautiful, stopping by to kiss the baby, brining food, offering to help in any way. Even a group of students from Phillip's class came to the hospital with a bouquet of flowers and this note: "Welcome to new life Ezgi." A new year, a brand new life...both certainly welcome.
